Cascara - Panama Finca Deborah
We have this amazing new non coffee offering here at Josie Coffee, the Panama Finca Deborah Cascara. For those wondering what is cascara, it is the outer skin of the coffee cherry that has been removed in the processing and has been dried and ready to brew.
Cascara is super sweet and aromatic, brewed just like a tea. We have listed a brewing recipe below and think it's the perfect afternoon sip.
Tasting notes: Sweet, white florals, honey, peach.
Brewing guide: Approx 1:22 Cascara to boiling water ratio. Brew for 4 - 5 minutes, strain and enjoy (or steep for 4 min in a french press).
