From the mountainous heights of Yirgacheffe and via importer Unravel Merchants we've purchased another stellar washed process Ethiopian. Coffees from the Yirgacheffe are known for their quality acidity and cup structure and when we tasted this lot, we found that in spades. Excellent balance with plenty of fruitiness, we're thankful for the hard work that goes into producing coffee this good all th way down the supply chain.

Between 1200 and 2100 farmers contribute coffee to the Idido mill, where Senay Hailemariam works on the ground for Unravel producing coffee via a multitude of processing methods; naturals, washed, carbonic maceration etc. We tasted through a wealth of them and the classic profile of this coffee stood out to us. Harvested late last year, this coffee is fresh and full of flavour, get it while you can.
